I am lucky enough to travel a lot for my work, but it’s never to places you’d choose to go.

I usually have one or two meetings per day, and some distance between them and the hotel / airport.

Nevertheless, there is always a little time spare, and something to discover, and perhaps because my destinations get chosen for me, there is more the feeling of going on an adventure.

With low expectations, a modest expense account, and some time-critical tasks to perform, my trips have an air of a very dull race-against-time reality documentary, with beer at the end.

My advice is that you read this blog with similarly low expectations.

This blog documents the various locales I get sent to, the highs, the lows, the beers and -yes – the headaches of travel.
